The ms pat show season 2 Emmy’s

BET’s “The Ms Pat Show” is celebrating their second Emmy nomination this week and we’re so proud!

The show was nominated in the Outstanding Directing For A Comedy category.

BET shared:

“What’s better than one nomination, TWO! 🏆🏆

Let’s take a moment for the facts and the flowers💐. We are giving flowers to #TheMsPatShow for its historic nomination on #BET for the second year in a row.

The Ms. Pat Show, “Don’t Touch My Hair” episode, is nominated for Outstanding Directing For A Comedy Series.

Congrats again to @ComedienneMsPat and the entire Ms. Pat cast and crew. You all are still brining us the laughs and the joy we need on BET+”

Patricia shared:

“Yall… #TheMsPatShow was nominated for ANOTHER Emmy! We got back-to-back nominations! 🤯 Episode 203 “Don’t Touch My Hair” is close to my heart. Grateful and excited for this little show that could! We may not be over here sweeping at betplus yet, but we definitely got a damn broom in our hand! 🔥 Congratulations @maryloubelli and team #TheMsPatShow❤️”

Huge congratulations to everyone involved!

The Emmy nominations recognize shows on TV that ran from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023. Yvette Nicole Brown and Television Academy chairman and CEO Frank Scherma revealed the nominees on Wednesday morning in a live webstream.

As for now, Fox is slated to air the 75th Primetime Emmys on September 18, produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment. (The two-night Creative Arts Emmys are scheduled for Sept. 9 and Sept. 10, with the ceremonies being broadcast by FXX on Sept. 10.) But as Variety reported on Monday, the WGA strike and potential SAG-AFTRA strike will likely push the telecast to either November (the TV Academy’s choice) or January (when Fox would like to air it).

Based on Patricia “Ms. Pat” Williams’ stand-up comedy and memoir, the multi-camera sitcom will tell the story of a former convicted felon turned suburban mom (Ms. Pat), whose hustle and resilient spirit was forged on the streets of Atlanta. To much reserve, she now finds herself in conservative middle America alongside her well-intentioned husband, played by J. Bernard Calloway (City On A Hill), a struggle of a sister played by Tami Roman (The Family Business), and two distinct sets of kids played by Theodore Barnes (The Prince of Peoria), newcomer Briyana Guadalupe, and Vince Swann (50 Central), raised under very different circumstances.
